Holiday cleaning in New Orleans has a calendar of its own. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, 2026, and the Monday to Wednesday before it (November 23 to 25) is the busiest stretch of our year. Christmas falls on a Friday this year, so the week of December 14 and the days right after the 25th go next. If you’re hosting, the earlier you book, the better your choice of day.

Before guests: what we focus on
The kitchen you’re about to cook in
Counters, backsplash, stovetop and the outside of every appliance. Add inside the oven and fridge so the turkey goes into a clean oven and the leftovers have room.
The guest bathroom
Toilet, tub or shower, sink, mirror and floor, fixtures shined. It’s the room every guest walks into alone, so it gets the extra minute.
The rooms people sit in
Dining room and living room dusted top to bottom where we can reach safely, baseboards on a deep clean, floors vacuumed and mopped, glass tables and mirrors streak-free.
The guest room
Dusted, floors done, and the bed made with the sheets you leave out, so your sister’s family walks into a room that’s ready.
After the holiday: getting your house back
The day after Thanksgiving, Christmas or a New Year’s Eve party, the kitchen is the hard part: a stovetop with three dinners on it, sticky floors, a full trash can, and every bathroom used by twenty people. Book an after-holiday clean while you’re booking the before, and the whole season is handled.
Book early for these dates
The days that go first: November 23 to 25 before Thanksgiving; December 14 to 23 before Christmas; December 26 to 31; and the day after any big party. Réveillon dinners and Celebration in the Oaks weekends bring family to town too. Once a day is full online, it’s full. Call us and we’ll tell you the closest opening.
Hosting checklist: what to do before we come
- Book the clean two or three days before guests arrive, not the morning of. That leaves time for the cooking mess to start fresh.
- Add inside the oven and fridge if you’re cooking. Turkey fat on a dirty oven floor smokes.
- Leave clean sheets on the guest bed and we’ll make it.
- Clear the dining table and counters of mail and decorations you don’t want moved.
- Book the after-holiday clean now. December 26 and January 2 go fast.

Holiday cleaning questions
When should I book a cleaning before Thanksgiving?
As early as you can. The Monday to Wednesday before Thanksgiving is the busiest stretch of our year and those days fill first. Booking two to three weeks ahead gives you the best choice of day and arrival time.
Do you charge more for holiday cleaning?
No. There is no holiday surcharge. Prices are the same flat prices all year, based on the size of the home, bathrooms, condition and add-ons.
Should I book a standard or a deep clean before guests?
If the house has not had a thorough clean in the last couple of months, book deep. It adds baseboards, door frames, molding and fans we can reach safely, and grout. Add inside the oven and fridge if you are cooking.
Can you clean the day after Christmas or New Year’s?
Yes, on any open day. The days right after holidays fill quickly, so book the after-holiday clean when you book the one before.
How much does a holiday deep clean cost in New Orleans?
A one-time deep clean is about $294 for 1,200 sq ft with 1 bath, $432 for 1,800 sq ft with 2 baths and $617.50 for 2,500 sq ft with 3 baths, before add-ons. The price page gives your exact number.
Can you clean the same day guests arrive?
Online booking opens from tomorrow. For the same day, call (504) 315-8112 and we will check whether a crew is free.
