Cleaning before selling a house in New Orleans is about two moments: the listing photos, which buyers scroll past in seconds, and the first walkthrough, when they open cabinets and look at the grout. We clean for both. Book it for the day before the photographer, and again before closing if you’re handing over the keys.

Which clean fits your listing
Still living there: deep clean
Baseboards, door frames, molding and fans we can reach safely, grout scrubbed, cabinet fronts, switches and handles, glass and mirrors streak-free, kitchen and baths bright. This is what photographs well.
Already moved out: move-out clean
Inside every cabinet, drawer and closet, inside the fridge and oven, and every room top to bottom. Buyers open everything in an empty house.
Between showings: standard clean
A quick reset when the house has been lived in between showings. Kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and floors.
Realtors: how to send us a listing
- Send the seller’s or your own info in the form at the top. Put the property address and lockbox or door code in the booking notes.
- See the flat price from square footage, bathrooms and condition. No walkthrough needed.
- Pick the day before photos. Online booking opens from tomorrow; call us for anything sooner.
- We text you when the crew arrives and when they lock up, so you know the house is ready.
If you list homes regularly, tell us when you call and we’ll keep your listings on one account, so booking the next one takes a minute.
Get your listing-ready price
Enter your name, number and email. You’ll go to the price page with it filled in. Pick deep for a lived-in home or move-out for an empty one.
You see the flat price before you pay anything. A $50 deposit holds your date and comes off the total; the balance goes on your card the morning of the clean.
What it costs
These come straight from our price engine for a one-time visit to a home in normal condition. Add-ons like inside the oven and fridge or interior windows are extra on a deep clean. They’re already included in a move-out clean. The minimum visit is $180.
| Home | Deep clean | Move-in / move-out |
|---|---|---|
| 1,200 sq ft · 1 bath | $294 | $367.50 |
| 1,800 sq ft · 2 baths | $432 | $540 |
| 2,500 sq ft · 3 baths | $617.50 | $763.13 |
Seller checklist for photo day
- Book the clean for the day before the photographer, not the same morning.
- Clear counters, fridge doors and bathroom vanities. Photos show every bottle.
- Pack away personal photos and valuables before showings start.
- Replace burned-out bulbs before we come so we can wipe the fixtures.
- If the house is empty, book a move-out clean after the movers and before the final walkthrough.

Old New Orleans houses, handled right
Many listings here are older homes: heart-pine floors that can’t take a soaking, original tile and clawfoot tubs, transoms and pocket doors that collect years of dust, 12-foot ceilings. We clean old wood with a wrung-out mop, never steam, and we scrub grout with a brush, not acid. If a fixture is too high to reach safely, we tell you instead of guessing.
Where we clean
We clean Uptown, the Garden District, the Irish Channel, Mid-City, Lakeview, Gentilly, the Marigny, Bywater, the CBD and Warehouse District, Algiers Point, Metairie and Old Metairie, Kenner, River Ridge, Harahan, Gretna, Chalmette, and across the lake in Mandeville, Covington and Slidell.
Questions from sellers and realtors
Should I deep clean my house before listing it?
If you are still living in it, yes. A deep clean before the listing photos takes care of baseboards, grout, fixtures and glass, which show in photos and are the first things buyers notice in person. If the house is already empty, book a move-out clean instead, which covers inside every cabinet and appliance.
How much does cleaning before selling a house cost in New Orleans?
A one-time deep clean is about $294 for 1,200 sq ft with 1 bath, $432 for 1,800 sq ft with 2 baths and $617.50 for 2,500 sq ft with 3 baths. A move-out clean of an empty home is about $367.50, $540 and $763.13 for the same sizes.
Can a realtor book the cleaning for the seller?
Yes. Put the property address and lockbox or door code in the booking notes. We text when the crew arrives and when they leave.
When should I schedule the cleaning?
The day before the listing photographer is ideal. If you are moving out, book a move-out clean after the movers leave and before closing or the final walkthrough.
How soon can you come?
Online booking opens from tomorrow. For anything sooner, call (504) 315-8112 and we will check whether a crew is free.
Do you clean empty houses?
Yes. That is a move-out clean: inside every cabinet, drawer and closet, inside the fridge and oven, and every room top to bottom.
