Commercial cleaning in New Orleans shouldn't mean your staff walks into yesterday's trash on Monday morning, or a customer opens a restroom door you'd rather they hadn't. NOLA Maid Easy cleans small offices, retail shops, salons, studios, showrooms, lobbies, churches and small clinics on a schedule that fits how your business actually runs: after close, before open, or on weekends.
This page is the broad one. If you run a straight office suite, our office cleaning in New Orleans and office cleaning in Metairie pages go deeper on workstations, conference rooms and breakrooms. Everything else that has a front door, customers, and a floor that takes a beating lives here.
A few things about this city shape the work. Humidity turns a windowless restroom musty in about three days if nobody gets into the grout. Spring pollen off the live oaks coats every sill and display shelf. Summer storms walk water and mud straight across your entry. And in the CBD and Warehouse District, half the job is working around building rules: freight elevators, loading dock hours, sign-in sheets and a property manager who wants a certificate of insurance before you touch anything.
Commercial cleaning New Orleans — what's included
Every commercial cleaning account in New Orleans gets a written task list. These are the spaces we clean most and what's on the list for each.
Small offices
Desks wiped around your papers, not through them. Trash and recycling out, kitchenette and breakroom, restrooms, entry glass, vacuum and mop. For office-only detail, see the dedicated office pages linked above.
Retail shops & showrooms
Sales floor, fitting rooms, display shelves and fixtures dusted, front glass and door handles, customer restroom, back stockroom swept. Done before you open so you never lose selling hours to a mop bucket.
Salons & studios
Hair and product residue off stations and floors, sinks and shampoo bowls, mirrors, waiting area, restroom. Fitness and dance studios get mirrors, mats wiped and floors done with a product that won't leave them slick.
Lobbies & common areas
For property managers: entry glass, lobby floors, elevator interiors and buttons, stairwells, mailroom, shared restrooms and hallway trash. The first thing every tenant and visitor sees.
Churches & community spaces
Sanctuary pews and floors, fellowship hall, kitchen, nursery, restrooms. Usually scheduled after the weekend services and before midweek events.
Small clinics
Waiting rooms, front desk, exam rooms and restrooms with extra attention on touchpoints. Medical practices should read our medical office cleaning page for the full routine.
Floor care like stripping and waxing, or a heavy deep clean after a renovation, is scheduled as a separate project. Bring it up at the walkthrough and we'll plan it around your slow week.
Request a commercial quote
Commercial cleaning isn't priced from the home estimator on our residential pages, and any company that quotes your building sight-unseen is guessing. Two businesses with the same square footage can be very different jobs. A 2,000 sq ft boutique with one restroom and a wall of street-facing glass is not the same clean as a 2,000 sq ft salon with four stations, two shampoo bowls and hair on every surface.
So we walk it. It takes about twenty minutes, costs nothing, and we can usually do it before you open or after you close. We count restrooms, look at the floors, note the glass, ask about your access rules and alarm, and find out what's been going wrong with your current cleaner. Then you get a flat monthly rate and a written scope.

What commercial cleaning in New Orleans costs, by frequency
Every commercial quote comes down to two things: how much space and how often. Here's how the four schedules we run break down. The price for each is set after the walkthrough, not before.
| Frequency | Best for | What's included | How it's priced |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nightly (5 nights a week) | Busy clinics, salons, high-traffic retail, lobbies | Full checklist every visit: restrooms, trash, floors, kitchen or breakroom, entry glass, touchpoints | Walkthrough, then a flat monthly rate |
| 3x weekly | Small offices, studios, showrooms with steady traffic | Restrooms, trash and floors every visit; dusting, glass and detail rotated through the week | Walkthrough, then a flat monthly rate |
| Weekly | Small shops, churches, low-traffic offices | One complete top-to-bottom clean: restrooms, kitchen, dusting, floors, glass, trash | Walkthrough, then a flat monthly rate |
| One-time deep or post-event | Move-ins, reopenings, after a party, launch or renovation | Detail work: baseboards, vents, inside fixtures, grout, heavy floor work, event trash and spills | Walkthrough, then one flat price for the job |
Supplies and equipment are included in every rate. Same crew every visit on a recurring schedule, so you aren't training a stranger on your alarm code every week.
Where we clean: corridors and neighborhoods
We handle commercial cleaning in New Orleans and the east bank suburbs from our base on Cleary Ave in Metairie, a few minutes from both I-10 and Veterans, so the whole east bank is close.
- CBD & Warehouse District — suites and ground-floor businesses along Poydras, Gravier, Magazine and Tchoupitoulas. Old brick warehouse conversions here have exposed brick and heart-pine floors that hold dust in every gap, plus building rules on freight elevators and after-hours entry that we plan around.
- Magazine Street retail — boutiques, galleries, salons and cafés from the Lower Garden District up through Uptown. Narrow shotgun-style storefronts, big front windows, and constant foot traffic that drags in sidewalk grit. We clean before open so the glass is clear when the first customer walks by.
- Metairie Road & Veterans Memorial Blvd — the shops and professional offices on Metairie Road in Old Metairie, and the office buildings, strip centers and medical suites along Veterans and Causeway. Most of these buildings want a COI before day one.
- Elmwood & Jefferson Highway — office parks, showrooms and light industrial spaces in Elmwood, plus clinics and professional offices along Jefferson Highway. Big parking lots mean a lot of tracked-in debris at the entry.
- Mid-City & Uptown — smaller storefronts, studios and church buildings off Carrollton, Canal and Freret. Older buildings with high ceilings and fans that need regular attention.
- Kenner, Harahan & the Northshore — offices near the airport and along Jefferson Highway in Harahan, with Mandeville and Covington by arrangement.
Why businesses switch their commercial cleaning in New Orleans to us
After-hours and weekend cleaning
We clean when you're closed. Nights, early mornings before a shop opens, or weekends for churches and offices that want Monday spotless. No one works around a vacuum during business hours.
Keys and alarm codes handled properly
Only your assigned crew holds access. They're background-checked employees, not app contractors. We lock up and arm the alarm on the way out.
Insured & bonded, COI on request
Licensed, insured and bonded in Louisiana. We'll send a certificate of insurance to you or your property manager before the first visit.
Same crew, written scope
The same people every visit, working from a checklist you've seen. If something gets missed, you have a name and a number to call, and it gets fixed on the next visit.
How to get started
- Request a walkthrough. Call (504) 315-8112 or use the contact form. Tell us the type of business, the address and your hours.
- Get a written scope and flat rate. After about twenty minutes on site, you get a task list for every visit and one monthly number. No hourly meter.
- We start. COI goes to your property manager, keys and codes go to your assigned crew, and the first clean happens on the schedule you picked.
Commercial cleaning FAQ
How much does commercial cleaning in New Orleans cost?
There's no honest number before we see the space. Price depends on square footage, how many restrooms you have, floor types, how much glass faces the street, and how many visits a week you need. That's why every commercial account starts with a free walkthrough, about twenty minutes. After it you get one flat monthly rate and a written scope of what happens on each visit, so the bill doesn't drift the way an hourly rate does. One-time deep cleans and post-event cleanups get a flat price for the job, also after a look at the space.
Can you clean after hours or on weekends?
Yes. Most of our commercial accounts are cleaned after close so staff and customers never work around a vacuum. Early-morning cleans before a shop opens and weekend visits are both available. We set the time around your business, not our route.
Who holds our keys and alarm code?
Only the crew assigned to your account. They're background-checked employees, not app contractors, and it's the same people every visit on a recurring schedule.
Can you send a certificate of insurance to our property manager?
Yes. We're licensed, insured and bonded in Louisiana, and we'll send a COI to you or straight to your building's property manager before the first visit. Most buildings in the CBD and a lot of the office parks along Veterans won't let a vendor in without one, so we handle it up front.
Do we have to sign a long-term contract?
No. You get a written scope and a flat monthly rate, but no lock-in. If we stop earning the account, you can stop using us. Most commercial clients stay because the same crew keeps showing up and nothing gets missed.
Do you clean salons, churches and small clinics, or only offices?
All of those. Salons, studios, retail shops, showrooms, churches, lobbies and common areas, and small clinics are a big part of our commercial work. For a medical practice, our medical office cleaning page covers the exam-room and waiting-room routine in more detail.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes. Supplies and vacuums come with us. If your building or your business requires specific products, like a certain disinfectant in a clinic or a stone-safe cleaner on a showroom floor, tell us at the walkthrough and we'll use it.
Can you clean up after a party, launch or event?
Yes. A one-time post-event clean is one of the options on the frequency table. Tell us the date, the space and what happened in it, and we'll quote it flat. Book early around Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest and holiday parties because those weeks fill up.
What actually keeps a commercial space clean in this climate
Most bids for commercial cleaning in New Orleans look the same on paper. Restrooms, trash, floors, glass. What decides whether a business still looks good in month six is the stuff that's specific to New Orleans.
Restrooms need real work every visit. Grout haze, black mildew at the base of the toilet and around the sink caulk, and that damp smell in a restroom with no window. In this humidity, a quick wipe three nights a week lets it build until a customer notices. We brush the grout lines and treat the caulk on a rotation.
Entry mats are doing more work than you think. Between summer downpours, spring pollen and sidewalk grit off Magazine or Poydras, most of what ends up on your floor walked in the front door. We vacuum and shake out entry mats every visit and flag when they're worn out. A good mat protects the flooring behind it and saves you money on floor care over a year.
Pollen and dust season is real. From late winter into spring, oak pollen settles on every horizontal surface, from display shelves and window sills to the tops of frames. Retail and showroom accounts get extra dusting during those weeks so merchandise doesn't look like it's been sitting there since last year. In May, the Formosan termite swarms leave wings piled on sills and under lights near the door at dusk; we sweep them up and let you know if it looks heavier than normal.
Festival and parade weeks change the schedule. If you're on a parade route or near the Quarter, Carnival season means more foot traffic, more trash and sometimes blocked access. We talk through Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest weeks with you ahead of time, whether that means an extra visit, a moved night, or a post-event clean the morning after.
Storm season needs a plan. Every business on the Gulf Coast loses days to weather. Tell us how your business handles storm closures, and we move or skip visits around them.
